On Friday, the SKM welcomed Prime Minister Narendra Modi's announcement to repeal the three farm laws. However, the SKM said that there are several demands pending, including those related to the minimum support price (MSP).

The SKM will hold another meeting on Sunday, November 21, at Delhi's Singhu border to decide its further strategy on the demand for MSP.

Speaking to India Today TV, Rakesh Tikait said that the Kisan union will end the stir after talks with the Centre.

"We will give our proposal to the government that they should form a committee and start talks to end this protest," he said.
